The Opera Cigar Lounge is Hungary’s only two-story cigar room – a refined space that’s both an exclusive salon and home to one of the country’s largest curated cigar collections.
Choose from over 15,000 cigars, including classic Cuban brands, rare boutique lines, and premium accessories – all available on the spot, with optional pairings of fine rum, whiskey, and wine.
During the summer months, we open Hungary’s only cigar terrace – right in downtown Budapest, yet entirely serene. The perfect place to enjoy a sunset smoke, a quality drink, and great conversation.
First Time Smoking a Cigar?
No worries if you haven’t tried cigars yet. For 20,000 HUF (approx. 50 EUR), you can book a session with our CEO, Peter, who will personally guide you through the basics of cigars. You’ll not only learn the essentials but also enjoy a cigar as part of the experience. It’s the perfect way to start your cigar journey.

What is the entrance fee to the lounge?
The entrance fee for the lounge is 3,000 HUF (approx. 10 EUR), granting you full access to enjoy all the amenities and services we offer. This fee does not include the cost of cigars.
Can I purchase cigars and enjoy them in the lounge?
Yes, you can purchase cigars from our shop and enjoy them in our premium lounge. We provide a relaxed and comfortable environment for you to fully enjoy your selection.
Do you sell lottery tickets in the shop?
Yes, we offer lottery tickets for purchase in our shop. You can conveniently buy them while picking up your cigars or accessories.
What cigar accessories do you offer?
We carry a wide range of premium cigar accessories, including cutters, lighters, humidors, and ashtrays. Our staff is happy to assist you in finding the perfect accessory to complement your experience.
What premium spirits and beverages are available in the lounge?
Our lounge offers a curated selection of premium spirits such as whiskey, rum, and cognac, as well as a variety of fine coffees. You can enjoy these drinks while relaxing in the lounge with your cigar.
Can I order cigars in advance?
Yes, you can! If you’d like to ensure your favorite cigars are available when you visit, we offer the option to order in advance. Contact us, and we’ll have your selection ready for pickup or set aside in the lounge for when you arrive. Please note that we only hold your cigars for 48 hours.
Is there a dress code?
We want you to feel completely at ease during your visit. Our policy is simple: whatever makes you feel comfortable, you’re welcome to wear that. Whether you prefer casual attire or something more formal, we encourage you to relax and enjoy your time at our lounge.
